Charity to those suffering

“Remember to set apart at least one hour every day to do some service for others. While the food we eat nurtures our bodies, it is what we give in charity that nurtures our souls. If time is not available daily, reserve at least a few hours every week for some worthwhile act of charity. “

“We give physical exercise to the body, but neglect the heart. The exercise for the heart is uplifting the destitute and the suffering.”

“Children, we are told to make an offering at the temple or at the feet of the guru, not because the Lord or guru is in need of wealth or anything else. Real offering is the act of surrendering the mind and the intellect. How can it be done? We cannot offer our minds as they are, but only the things to which our minds are attached. Today our minds are greatly attached to money and other worldly things. By placing such thoughts at the feet of the Lord, we are offering Him our heart. This is the principle behind giving charities.”

  1. I do agree with all the ideas you have introduced on your post.
They are very convincing and will definitely work.
Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for starters. May
just you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for
    the post.

  2. Wow that was odd. I just wrote an really long comment
but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear. Grrrr…
well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyways, just wanted to say great blog!

  3. magnificent issues altogether, you simply won a new reader.
What may you suggest about your put up that you simply made
some days in the past? Any sure?

  4. Hey there 🙂

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t
mind me asking what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I
    steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
